The results of the 2008 STATUS survey identify that the majority of tenants are aged between 25 and 54 (66%), live in households that are either one or two parent families with children under 16 (34%) or single adults on their own (34%); have a household income of between £100-199 per week (32%); and are not working or are retired (24% retired; 39% employed). High proportions have limiting disabilities (38%).
