Estate services FAQs

If you have a query regarding our estate services, you may find the answer in our estate services FAQs below.

What should I do if I have large items of furniture to throw away?

Please arrange with your local council to remove the items. White goods and some electrical items are removed free of charge. Items which are removed by Circle 33 will be charged to residents through your service charges.

Who is responsible for the cleaning and gardening on my estate?

If you pay service charges then the Circle 33 Estate Services Team and their contractors are responsible for the communal cleaning and gardening on your estate. The work schedule should be displayed on your estate/scheme Notice Board. If you have any queries please contact the Estate Services team or your Customer Service Manager through the Contact Centre on 0800 073 0417 or 020 7447 3100. If you do not pay a service charge, you are responsible for your own cleaning and gardening.

How often is cleaning carried out on my estate?

Cleaning is carried out at least once per week. Schedules of services are located on the noticeboards in the communal hallways.

Can I store my personal belongings in the shared communal corridors and meter cupboards?

No. Do not use communal corridors for storing personal items. This includes bikes, clothes, toys etc. Items stored in the corridors will have to be removed on the grounds of health and safety as they are an obstruction should a fire occur in the building. If this is a problem for a number of residents please talk to your Customer Services Manager.

How can I get involved in improving services to my estate?

You can volunteer as an Estate Champion to help us monitor the cleaning and gardening on your estate/scheme. Part of the role will be to do joint estate inspections with Estate Services staff and your Customer Services Manager. If you are interested in becoming an Estate Champion please call 0800 073 0417 or 020 7447 3100 and ask to speak to a member of the Estate Services Team or your Customer Service Manager.

What is the Excellent Estates Programme?

We are working with residents to deliver £6million of investment in the communal areas of estates across Circle 33 stock over a three year period. We will work with residents to agree priorities which might include for example, additional security, improvements to lighting and landscaping, new flooring to improve the quality of life on the estate. For more information about the Excellent Estate programme contact the Estate Services team or your Customer Services Manager by calling 0800 073 0417 or 020 7447 3100.

Will Estate Services cut the grass in my personal garden and clean my windows?

No. We will only clean the communal areas of the estate, not your personal property. However we are looking to introduce a reward/loyalty scheme which may offer handyman and gardening services.

Can I walk my dog in the communal gardens?

Yes, but please be aware that dogs fouling can be harmful to young children if it comes into contact with the eyes or mouth. We would kindly ask you to clean up after your dog if they have fouled in the communal areas of the estate.
