Mrs Gee had previously made a great effort to attend the Garden Party in Lloyds Park which she thoroughly enjoyed. She came to investigate the garden party as she lives near the park. She stayed the whole afternoon and through the information given out by Circle 33 staff found out about the computer courses on offer at Priory Court.
When Mrs Gee received the invitation to Priory Court Family Fun Day she once again was apprehensive about attending but she thought she would go and find out about the computer course and maybe meet some of her neighbours and people she had previously met.
Mrs Gee came along on Saturday 19 July 2008 and really enjoyed the event. She spent time with Circle 33 staff and volunteers in the computer room and now feels confident to attend a Silver Surfers course in the autumn.
She had great fun and a laugh doing the gentle exercises that were put on the lounge for the over 55s. She met neighbours, old acquaintances, even a lady who she shared travelling to London to work when she was 17 years old.
Mrs Gee informed us that she enjoyed both events and they enabled her to get out of the home for a few hours and talk to a variety of tenants about various subjects.
