Isledon Village Planting Day
Circle 33 and Team for Communities teamed up with Family Mosaic to help residents of Isledon Village, Islington give their gardens and balconies a clean, green, spring clean feel in May. Over 30 residents took part in the pot planting extravaganza where they received gardening tips and the opportunity to pot up and take away.
It was a perfect day for Isledon Village Clean Up and Planting extravaganza Event last month. Growing Concerns were on hand to give gardening tips and to assist residents with potting up their hanging baskets, garden pots and window boxes.
Customer Service Manager, Diana Duncan encouraged residents to take part, by registering them for the event and handing out materials. Family Mosaic and Apollo Services also gave residents a helping hand with the clearance of their rubbish from their front garden.
Circle 33 and Team for Communities have organised a prize draw for all participants. Prizes to include a Front Garden Makeover which aims to encourage residents to continue to improve and take care of their outdoor space.
