What are the benefits of community Facebook pages?
The most obvious advantage of Facebook community pages is the immediacy and low-cost associated with communications via Facebook. We've laid out some benefits below:
- Using Facebook as a form of resident engagement is free; therefore there are no cost implications to residents or Circle Living for joining and becoming an active user.
- The site can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.
- Facebook provides an opportunity for residents who may normally be unable to attend traditional resident meetings due to busy working / social commitments to have their say.
- Facebook pages specific to an area can help to build a sense of community amongst residents.
Residents that choose to 'like' the 'Caledonian Road Homeowner Forum' Facebook page will be able to:
- Post enquiries regarding their home / estate and receive a response from their Portfolio Manager.
- Keep in touch with what is going on in the area such as the dates of Sites Inspections and Local Events.
- Share useful information with other residents of Caledonian Road.
- Discuss and debate topics specifically relevant to the Residents of Caledonian Road.
Residents who do not have access to Facebook will continue to be updated via post and email, to ensure nobody at the Site is missing out on relevant information.
