Orchard Village Orchard Village
The Mardyke Estate was a 1960s estate, situated just off the A13 in Dagenham. The housing was a mix of high rise and low rise flats, many of which were outdated bedsits. The regeneration of Mardyke into 'Orchard Village' is now well underway, with the demolition of the old housing complete. “The future of the estate is looking incredibly positive,” said Mick Fury, chairman of the Mardyke Tenants Association, “The whole area will be hugely improved by this regeneration.”

Eastside Youth Centre Eastside Youth Centre
The Eastside Youth Centre was set up by Old Ford Housing Association in Bow, East London, and is aimed at young people aged between 13 and 16 from across the community. Most of the activities take place Monday to Thursday from 6pm until 9pm but there are some that take place during late afternoon, such as the job club, the youth committee and the under-13s club.
