What House? Awards 2010

Circle's sales and marketing team celebrated success at the prestigious 'What House? Awards 2010'. The expert team scooped a bronze award for 'Best Shared Ownership Development' for Outlook Place in Watford, proving yet again that grand designs are not just for the rich and famous.

'We were confident we'd do well in these awards, despite the strong competition,' explains Tim Seward, Director of Sales and Marketing. 'This is a great building in a great setting, with real attention paid to design internally and externally. And it doesn't strike people as a typical, boxy shared ownership scheme. It has a look and feel that sets it apart. We're really proud of it.'

Featuring slate tiles and timber cladding, the scheme - which completed in late 2008 - has been carefully designed to make the most of its leafy setting. All homes are at least dual aspect, and apartments have views over an internal landscaped courtyard. Houses have south-facing private rear gardens. Internally, residents enjoy high specification kitchens and benefit from a number of green features built into the development, including solar water heating.

The 'What House? Awards 2010' were held at the Grosvenor Hotel on 19 November 2010 and were hosted by Comedian Jimmy Carr.
