Staff at Russet and Invicta Telecare welcomed a visit from Sir John Stanley, MP Tonbridge and Malling. Sir John was introduced to staff working within the different departments and took the time to speak directly about their individual role with the organisation.

Staff in one department demonstrated how they offer tenants a 24 hour freephone repair line, Contact Russet, making it easier to report a repair for their home anytime night or day.
Recognizing that in today’s busy world many people just don’t get the chance to make ‘phone calls during office hours Contact Russet was set up to give a speedier, better and more accessible service.
Sir John Stanley MP said: “I continue to receive a significant amount of correspondence from constituents on housing issues – particularly requests for housing, transfers and repairs, plus a few complaints about anti-social behaviour. The staff at Russet invariably respond to my letters in commendable detail and with high professional standards.”
Keith Andrews, MD of Russet Homes said: “We were delighted Sir John took the time to visit Basted House. As a former Minister of State for Housing and Construction he understands many of the challenges the industry is facing at the moment and it gave us the opportunity to discuss a range of issues and how they affect his constituents.”
