Circle is part of the programme being led by Groundwork and the National Housing Federation. The Future Jobs Fund programme is important to Circle as it allows us to create employment opportunities for young people living in the communities which we work in. These opportunities will give successful candidates the chance to develop careers in housing and regeneration.

Tarik and Tim The initiative is creating 2,384 jobs in housing related activities, delivering significant environmental and community benefits in neighbourhoods across England and Wales. Besides internal training and structured professional development, all candidates are given employability training, which will enable them to successfully search and apply for internal and external employment positions after their six month FJF work placement.
As well as providing opportunities for young people the programme has also proven to be beneficial towards Circle. By creating entry level posts we are able to spot potential housing stars of the future and train them in professions that we have available. On average we have also been able to gain 600 hours of additional work time to any team within our organisation per FJF post at no cost other than management support time. Overall the programme enhances life chances, benefiting our local community and delivering on one of Circle's core purposes.
Future Jobs Fund is managed by Circle’s Sustainable Communities Department. For more information please contact Crystal Fernandes on 0207 447 3037 or email crystal.fernandes@circle.org.uk.
