Since the new coalition came into being in May, and the subsequent Emergency budget, the political landscape has been moving at a great pace. As a sector we have seen numerous announcements, changes to policy and planned cuts to funding. We believe that with every challenge there are opportunities, and at Circle Anglia we are well placed to meet them head on.
It has also been a busy period internally. We have recently celebrated our fifth anniversary, welcomed Brian Stewart OBE as the new Chair at Wherry Housing Association, introduced several new services at the CIH Conference in Harrogate, had awards success and helped further the mobility debate through the launch of our media campaign ‘the Social Housing Squeeze.’
In this edition you will also read about how we are supporting even more families through our Family Intervention projects, the completion of our eye catching development at St. Giles, the launch of Merton Priory Homes £1 million community fund and how we are tackling unemployment in the West Midlands.
If you’d like to explore opportunities to work together please get in touch.
