A new Community Hub offering Tower Hamlets residents a wide range of programmes to tackle worklessness was launched last month. The Community Hub is part of a Community Hub network in Tower Hamlets and is aimed at local people who are not in work.
The experienced team at the new Community Hub in Roman Road will concentrate on engaging residents who are more likely to face barriers in gaining access to training, volunteering, work experience and entry to employment, by offering individual consultations, support with CV writing and job searching.
Cllr Rania Khan, Lead Member for Community Partnerships, Tower Hamlets Council said: "the Community Hubs bring together appropriate services to meet the needs of local people. They offer practical advice and solutions that help to boost people's confidence so they're more prepared for work."
