Brentwood Foyer and Ipswich Foyer

Our Foyers in Brentwood and Ipswich provide support and accommodation to people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are no longer able to live at home – for whatever reason.

Both of our Foyers work with service users improve life chances, opportunities for education, training and employment and secure short-term accommodation.

The Foyers offer support and accommodation to Young People who:

  • Are between 16 and 25 years old and single
  • Have a housing need as a result of being homeless, threatened with homelessness, or in accommodation unsuitable for their needs
  • Have a willingness and ability to engage in the support and learning opportunities offered by the Foyer to promote their personal development agenda
  • Have the ability to pay the accommodation and support charges, albeit with support to access appropriate State Benefits
  • Demonstrate the ability and readiness to adhere to the Excluded Licence conditions and Foyer House Rules, including the policy on Safe Zones
  • Applicants aged 16 and remaining in full-time mainstream education may be considered for accommodation by the Foyer Manager in conjunction with the Service Manager.
