Young people: London
EPIC provides support to Young People aged between 16 - 19 living in shared and self-contained properties in Hackney, Haringey and Camden. We provide support with various needs including teenage mothers, young people with mental health needs and single homeless care leavers.
The aim of the service is to provide young people with a useful stepping stone to independent living. Useful skills such as understanding benefit entitlements, applying for grants and getting to grips with budgeting are complimented by the opportunity to access education, training, and employment. Support Co-ordinators meet with service users at least once a week.
