About Us

Mercian Housing Association is an innovative ‘not-for-profit’ organisation providing affordable homes and contributing to the regeneration of communities across the West Midlands. Established in 1964, Mercian offers over 3,400 rented, leasehold and shared ownership properties, including eight sheltered schemes for the over 55’s and a supported housing scheme for single, homeless people between the ages of 16 and 59.

Mercian Mercian provides affordable homes across the West Midlands and as Circle Housing Group’s lead partner in this region we are one of 12 partners within Circle.

Our mission is to Enhance the Life Chances of residents and service users by providing great homes, quality services, and by helping to build sustainable communities in the places that we operate. We retain our individual and independent approach and run our services to meet the needs of our residents.
