Customer Involvement - Volunteering Opportunities

We are currently looking for a Mercian resident to join RASP

What is RASP? RASP stands for Resident And Service User Panel and is a group made up of one representative from each of the Circle Group partners and acts as the voice of the residents and service users in the governance of the Group.

If you have any of the skills or experience listed below, either through employment or on a voluntary basis, or are keen to get involved and learn new skills like these, we would like to hear from you.

• Do you have experience of being on a committee or voluntary group?
• Do you have experience of chairing meetings?
• Have you ever been involved in analysing data or report writing?
• Do you have IT experience or have managed budgets?
• Maybe you have been involved with Mercian in the past?

Being a member of RASP is a voluntary role that will involve at least four meetings a year, working group meetings and other training sessions as and when required.

Most meetings will take place in London and expenses for attending will be covered. However, video conferencing facilities are available from Mercian’s Head Office in Aston if you are unable to travel.

Why should I join RASP?

You’ll be making a real contribution to the way Circle is run to benefit its 60,000 households, including supported and sheltered housing, for around 200,000 people across the UK. You will also benefit from gaining skills and experience and take advantage of training opportunities.
