Mercian recognises that the quality of life of our residents can be affected by poor quality or access to services. For this reason we aim to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents by investing in their communities and helping to provide them with opportunities to enhance their Life Chances.

In order to ensure our residents are given access to the best opportunities that arise from investments in the community, Mercian are committed to working closely with a number of different partners including local authorities, service providers and organisations.

Case Studies

Parish Rooms Cheque Mercian’s Parish Rooms were recently nominated for Sainsbury’s High Impact Community Awards. Mercian’s Community Investment Manager Bob Candlin accepted the cheque for £500 which will help with a new horticulture project at the Parish Rooms.
The money awarded will help to fit out a recently installed greenhouse and will ensure those living there will benefit from learning how to grow and cultivate a range of fruits, vegetables, herbs and bedding plants.
