The RSP investigate and influence the quality of the services the Mercian provides to residents by scrutinising Mercian’s policies, performance and services and making recommendations for improvements. Comprised entirely of Mercian customers, the RSP report their findings to our Board and Senior Management Team.
If you have any of the skills or experience listed below, either through employment or on a voluntary basis, or are keen to get involved and learn new skills like these, we would like to hear from you.
• Experience of being on a committee or voluntary group?
• Experienced in working as a part of a team?
• Have you ever been involved in analysing data or report writing?
• Want to develop your personal skills and knowledge?
Being a member of the RSP is a voluntary role that will involve taking in part in regular training, meetings and events, as well as requiring time to conduct research and review documentation.
Meeting times and locations will be decided upon by the RSP. Expenses for attending any RSP meeting or training will be covered.
You will have the opportunity to make recommendations for improvements to make sure that Mercian provides services that have a positive impact on all of our residents. Additionally it is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and gain a variety of new skills.
If you're interested in joining the Resident Scrutiny Panel, call the Customer Involvement Team on 0121 322 7404, or email us at Involvement at Mercian.
