Abbey Neighbourhood Plan
Following further consultation with local service providers and residents groups, this plan has recently been reviewed and a new plan has been developed for Abbey; Abbey Neighbourhood Plan 09-11. Merton Priory Homes will be working to achieve the actions on this plan over the coming months.

- Improved lighting on the High Path Estate

- Installation of new door security for residents
- Developed and delivered a Junior Neighbourhood Warden Scheme at Merton Abbey School
Project spotlight
Deen City Farm
The opportunities for learning at Deen City Farm are numerous and cover all age ranges. We offer incubator hire to schools and nurseries, host work experience placements; run a Farm Club after school; work on horticultural projects with local schools and enable people of all ages to experience horse riding.
We also support a wide range of volunteer placements so that people can build up friendships and enjoy the time they give to the Community.
The Farm is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4.30. There is no admission charge but the Farm relies on donations.
