The purpose of the group is to give young people a voice and an opportunity to shape where they live and the services they receive or would like to receive.
The group meet twice a term in term-time at the Grange, and a Chair and Vice-chair have been elected from the youth membership.

There are still a few vacancies on the Youth Forum and any young person living in MPH's homes or on an MPH estate, aged between 12 – 19 years old or up to 21 if vulnerable or with a disability, can apply to become a member. Young people on the forum have agreed that there should be a maximum of 20 members at any one time, but this will be subject to regular reviews.
Note: Membership is dependant on the receipt by MPH of a Parental Permission Form agreeing the participation of any young person less than 18 years.
This year’s round of the Merton Priory Homes Youth Fund is open and the closing date for receipt of applications is 4.00pm on 22 August 2011.
The Fund available is:
£15,000 – For young people living in MPH's homes to bid for improvements or new youth services, activities or opportunities
Any groups of young people aged 12 - 19 can apply to the MPH Youth Fund provided that at least one young person from the group lives in accommodation provided by Merton Priory Homes.
The grants are awarded for projects that must be completed by 31 March 2012
