Grounds Maintenance Service

The Estate Services team manages the ground maintenance service to all communal housing areas within the borough. The general type of work includes grass cutting, bushes trimming and tree shaping

Grass Trees

Our present grounds maintenance service is provided by Veolia UK. The service period of this contract runs from 1 April 2008 - 31 March 2013

The contract was transferred to Merton Priory Homes on 22 March 2010. This contract forms an agreement between Veolia UK and The London Borough of Merton who act as contract agent/client on behalf of Merton Priory Homes

Below is a summary of the schedule of works provided within the contract. The contract does not allow for a grass collection service

Please note on average during the growing season the contractor should visit site approximatley every 15 working days for cyclical grass cutting. Seasonal rain fall occasionally impacts upon the the scheduled visits; however the contractor is obligated to visit site 14 times between March and October
