How to pay your service charges

Where & How to Pay your Service Charges

Please use one of the following methods to pay your Service Charges.

1. Allpay – the “pay without delay” payment system - You can pay your service charges at any outlet which displays the following logos
Pay Point
You can use your current payment card at the Post Office and these outlets (mainly garages and corner shops) many of which are open outside of normal office hours. Customers can also pay in any outlet in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. Please note that you must take your payment card with you if you wish to pay by Allpay.

For a list of addresses where this facility is available please visit All Pay website and use the 'payment outlet search' facility on the left hand side of the home page. More and more shops and garages join every day, and the lists are constantly being updated.

2. By Standing Order - Please contact the Leasehold Management team, on 0300 500 3000 for a standing order form.
3. By a cash payment - You are no longer able to pay your service charges by cash at the Council’s Civic Centre cash office and you will not be able to pay your service charges in cash at the MPH office. If you want to pay your service charges by cash you must take it to your nearest Paypoint or Allpay outlet, along with your payment swipe card.

4. Over the phone - You can call the MPH offices during office hours on 0300 500 3000, and an officer will take payments from you using your credit or debit card details as provided by you over the telephone. Charges will not be made to you when paying by this method; you do not need to have your payment card with you if you use this method.

You can also make payments using a credit or debit card by calling the 24 hour Allpay payment line, 0844 557 8321 and you will need to have your payment card with you if you use this method.

5. Via the internet - You can pay your service charges through Merton Priory Homes website or directly on the Allpay website

6. By cheque - There will be limited resources to accept cheques and they may take up to a week to be processed. If you do send a cheque please ensure that the cheque is made payable to Merton Priory Homes – You must ensure you quote the property address and service charge account on the reverse of the cheque.

7. By text message - To access this option you need to:-

  • Register with AllPay by going to their Allpayment.Text website
  • Provide your credit/debit card and AllPay payment card details and select a Text Code for your payment card. You will automatically receive a Text Password for each credit/debit card you want to use. Once you have registered, you will receive a welcome email and a text confirming that your registration has been accepted.
