Mitcham town centre warden

A highly visible presence in Mitcham town centre, working to prevent anti-social behaviour and reduce crime. The warden scheme is non-confrontational and our duties are to simply observe and report. Wardens are received warmly by the public and people are reassured by their presence.

Acting as the eyes and ears for the local community, the wardens role is to help reduce anti-social behaviour, getting residents involved with community based projects and ensuring his patch is free of any environmental issues, such as fly-tipping or abandoned vehicles.

Your local neighbourhood warden has been awarded the London Ambassador for the 2012 Olympics
