Pollards Hill neighbourhood warden

Acting as the eyes and ears for the local community, the wardens role incorporates three main responsibilities. They are reducing anti-social behaviour, getting residents involved with community based projects and ensuring the area is free of any environmental issues, such as fly-tipping or abandoned vehicles.

The Pollards Hill wardens,Andrew Davis and Colin Hall,have been running a Junior Warden scheme with William Morris Primary School (Year 5 Pandas Class) from January to March 2010. We are planning to run a further scheme on Pollards Hill with Garden Primary School (Year 6) from May to July 2010.

In addition the wardens will be running a film club soon in the Pollards Hill Library (look out for posters) where children can take part and challenge each other on the various games provided.
