Wimbledon town centre warden

A highly visible presence in Wimbledon town centre, working to prevent anti-social behaviour and reduce crime. The warden scheme is non-confrontational and our duties are to simply observe and report. Wardens are received warmly by the public and I think people are reassured by my presence.

Acting as the eyes and ears for the local community, the wardens role incorporates three main responsibilities. They are reducing anti-social behaviour, getting residents involved with community based projects and ensuring his patch is free of any environmental issues, such as fly-tipping or abandoned vehicles.
