Merton Priory Homes signs its first TMO agreement

Glebe Court Management Organisation (GCMO) and Merton Priory Homes signed a Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) agreement on Monday 12 December 2011.

MPH Glebe Court The agreement has been drawn up between MPH and the Glebe Court Management Organisation to agree new standards of performance, policies and procedures. This marks the start of a new era of co-operation between the two organisations. MPH will be monitoring, as well as supporting the Glebe Court TMO. A tenant management organisation is a company run by a Board of residents, which usually takes on responsibilities to run a particular area or an estate.
Glebe Court TMO manages two estates – Glebe Square, made up of 36 properties, and Glebe Court with 264 homes. All 300 properties, of which 200 are tenanted, will benefit from working closely with Merton Priory Homes.

Lucy Hedden, Glebe Court MO Secretary, have been the driving force behind having the agreement signed. Jan Reuben, the Chair, said about the significant event today: ‘We have come a long way to get to this point. It has taken us over a year to get there, but we are finally here. Merton Priory Homes have been very patient with us, and have helped us a lot. I am looking forward to working with MPH. We have been 15 years with Merton Council, and hope to be even more with Merton Priory Homes.’
