How do I apply to join the Choice Based Letting System

You can collect a form from the District Council’s offices at Pippbrook, Dorking, or ring the Council’s Environmental Health and Housing Department on 01306 885 001 and they will send a form to you.

Alternatively, you can pick up a form from our reception, or ring our office on 0800 634 9876 (free from a land line) or 0300 333 0001 (charged at service provider local rates from mobiles) and we’ll send one out to you.
Once you have completed the application form and returned it to the Council, they will assess your application and write to you advising you of your “banding position” and your unique reference number.

Once you have your unique reference number you will be able to access the CBL system via the Homechoice website WWW.molevalley-homechoice.org.uk. You can use this to search for suitable properties and to register your interest in a specific property.

In addition to the Homechoice website every week a list of all housing association homes available in the district is advertised in libraries, in the Citizen’s Advice Bureau and in the District Council and Mole Valley Housing Association offices.
