Service Charges

As a leaseholder/homeowner at MVHA you have entered into an agreement (the lease) to pay for services towards the up-keep of the block/estate in which you live.

These services can be items such as insurance for the block, grounds maintenance, communal gardening, caretaking services, etc.

Every year, MVHA provide leaseholders with a breakdown of charges for the whole year together with a statement of expenditure for the previous year.

Leaseholders only pay the amount that the service actually costs.

You will pay your service charge quarterly in advance and service charges increases would occur once a year (unless a new service is introduced). Leaseholders however would be consulted prior to the introduction of any new services that would affect them.

If you have any concerns with the services you are paying for, then please feel free to get in touch with us to report any queries by contacting our Leasehold/Home Ownership Team.

Alternatively please see the question and answer sheet below.
