Repairs and maintenance service review

Please read below about our Repairs and maintenance service review, how it affects you, and how you can get involved.

Circle Anglia electrician At Circle we are constantly looking to improve the service we provide to you. As part of that process we recently carried out some in-depth customer research which told us what you think and what you want from us. This work has helped us to identify a number of areas where we need to review and improve the service we provide to you.

As part of that process we are currently reviewing the way we repair and maintain your homes.

What does this review cover?

This review covers all of our repairs and maintenance services, from the way we fix small problems, to how we look after the overall quality of our homes.

What will this mean?

This means looking very closely at how we deal with you our customers - from the way you like to contact us, to the services we offer you. In short, we want to make sure we are putting you at the heart of everything we do.

How will you do that?

We will do that by looking at the fundamentals of the way we organise, contract and carry out our repairs and maintenance. We cannot do that alone. The people best placed to tell us what works, what doesn’t and what we could do better, is you our customers. That’s why customers have been, and are playing an important part of this review.

How are customers being involved?

In February, we invited customers from across Circle to attend an event in London to give us their views on some of our thinking and to share with us what they would like to see any new repairs and maintenance service to look like. We listened, did some more thinking and went back with some more ideas to the same group in May for further feedback.

However, the involvement does not stop there. As well as regularly talking to the Residents and Service Users Panel (RASP) and going out to talk to customers on the ground, we have also enlisted the help of a panel of residents to help advise on how we continue to move forward.

How can I get involved?

We want to hear from as many of you as possible. If you want to get involved email Jan Mundy jan.mundy@circle.org.uk to find out how you could help.

Do I need to do anything?

No. As part of the process, we will be writing to some of you over the next few weeks. This is a legal requirement and gives you the opportunity to tell us if you have anything you want to say about the review at this stage. If you do, please let us know. If you don’t that is fine too, you don’t have to do anything.

When will we know more?

We shall update you on progress in the Summer.
