“Have your Say” is a list of residents who are invited to feedback to Old Ford in relation to policy development and other consultation matters. This list of residents will be regularly updated and reviewed to ensure it remains current. The results of consultation carried out in this manner will be shared with residents. Residents involved in this project have all been asked to indicate how they would like to be involved and what they would like to be consulted about. The range of method option includes:
Old Ford will review the impact of resident involvement on an annual basis to ensure that resident involvement is making a positive and real difference to the way in which services are delivered. This review will be carried out in conjunction with the Residents Federation.
Estate Champions are unelected residents who represent the estate services concerns or interests of residents living on an estate.
The Estate Champion will:
*Join their Customer Service Manager and other Estate Services staff during estate inspections;
*Help to monitor action plans drawn up to improve estate improvement.
Residents can raise issues of concern or be consulted on views regarding specific issues, for example, anti-social behaviour, youth projects and green spaces. They can be organised by residents or OFHA through a Customer Service Manager.
Residents can be involved through our community development activities. This can be attending courses/ sessions ran at the centres, running a group/ course at a centre or being on the steering committee of the community centres.
