The green was redeveloped by Old Ford Housing Association, part of the Circle Housing Group, as part of a £55 investment to regenerate the area.
PRP architects transformed the underused, flat piece of land into a fun, attractive square, which opened to the public on 18 May.
June Morton, Managing Director of Old Ford Housing Association, said: “Developing St Stephen’s Green was part of our wider commitment to regenerating the local area and we are delighted it has been shortlisted for this award.”
