Cyclical Redecoration Programme (communal areas)

Old Ford Housing Association has a responsibility to ensure that the property remains in a good standard of repair and decoration. To help us achieve this we have a five year programme of works in place so that we can ensure every property receives the right level of maintenance at the right time.

In order to maintain homes at the highest possible standards we have in place a managed works programme which includes redecorating, lift refurbishment and replacements, replacement of door entry systems, roof replacements, and window replacements.

In 2007 a procurement exercise was carried out to find a contractor who would partner with Old Ford Housing in responsive, voids and the cyclical works programme. After a robust tender exercise, which involved residents, Mears were selected.

Please note: the C33 Old Ford managed stock is decorated on a 6 year cycle. The last programme was completed in 20008/09 so the next intended programme will be 2014/15.
