Chatteris Halloween Event October 2011

Following on from the successful Halloween event of last year it was decided to hold another one again this year at the popular venue of the Bricstan Rooms in Chatteris,the event was organised by Chatteris Residents Association and supported by Roddons. It was well attended with around 100 people of various ages and there were 43 entries for the childrens fancy dress competition.There were side stalls and activities for children and face painting for all.In a change to previous years there were bacon butties & hot dogs that were sold at a nominal price with proceeds being given to Great Ormond Street charity which the Roddons Youth Group are supporting. Money raised for this from this event was in excess of £100.

Roddons Mini Conference - March - November 2011

Following on from feedback from our First Annual Resident's Conference last year, we are now holding four mini conferences this year in the four market towns of March,Chatteris, Wisbech & Whittlesey.
The first was on 18 November, held at YPM, March and was a huge success with the theme being "Coming of Age" for all four conferences, there was a presentation on the Roddons five year promises,what we have achieved and our successes as well as areas of the business that are still work in progress. There was also some fun element to the day as well as interactive exercises on the way forward of shaping Roddons service delivery for the future.
