Tenant Advisory Groups (TAGs)

If you would like to make a difference and have a say in changing the way Roddons services are delivered and you feel that you are able to volunteer then why not become a member of one of our established Tenant Advisory Groups (TAGs).

These groups meet locally on a regular basis to look at specific service areas, scrutinise performance and customer satisfaction and explore ways of delivering better services. This is a great opportunity to specialise, learn how services are delivered and work closely with Roddons’ staff to drive improvement. Currently there are six services areas :

  1. Repairs and Major Works Group(Decent Homes)
  2. Allocations and Lettings
  3. Income Management
  4. Tenancy Management and Estate Services & Anti-Social Behaviour
  5. Customer Services
  6. Resident Involvement

What's in it for you?

You will meet lots of new people. We'll provide you with training and ongoing support. You will gain new experiences and have fun.

Roddons will encourage their residents to get involved and will cover most out-of-pocket expenses for travel and other reasonable costs to enable you to attend meetings,i.e events, workshops, conferences & training courses.

The complete list is set out in the Commitment to RI leaflet but briefly includes:
Car mileage/bus/taxi/rail & childcare costs.

Don't worry if you haven't done anything like this before, the Resident Involvement Team are always here to support, guide and advise you. There are also a number of resident champions throughout the area who are there to help and assist.
If you would like a bit more support you can ask for one of the resident champions to "buddy" you through the first stages or until you feel confident with your involvement.

So if you are passionate about a particular issue and would like to get involved just contact us.
