Debby, who started her new role on Monday, will be responsible for building on the association’s success to date in delivering the promises made to residents following transfer of 3,754 homes from Fenland District Council in 2007.
Born in the Fens, Debby was previously the assistant director for access and customer care at Roddons and is taking over from Christopher Smith who was recently appointed to a new position within the Circle Group as group regional operations director.
Debby will be working closely with residents and staff to maintain the progress and development of Roddons as one of the leading and most successful providers of affordable housing in the region.
Debby said of her new appointment: “I am delighted to have been offered this job and am grateful for the confidence which the Board and Circle have shown in me. Roddons has a record of proud achievements, brilliant people and fantastic potential. I believe I can bring a wealth of experience to the role that will help realise that future.”
“We are thrilled to have Debby as the new managing director”, says Brenda Reynolds, chair of Roddons Board. “Debby’s passion for working with staff and residents to create a better place to live and her commitment is evident from the impressive results she has already achieved for the organisation. She has the full support of the Board and we are looking forward to working with her.”
