Home-Link

Home-Link is the sub regional choice based letting scheme. In November 2008, Roddons in partnership with Fenland District council joined six other Partner Organisations in the following regions, Cambridge City; East Cambridgeshire; Forest Heath; Huntingdonshire; South Cambridgeshire and St. Edmundsbury.

How does it work?

Home-Link offers you more choice about where you want to live. In the past the Council or Housing Association has decided where and when you would be offered a home. Now you have the chance to choose.

Every fortnight available properties are advertised on the internet and in the Home-Link magazine. This gives you the opportunity to read the adverts and decide which property you would like to ‘bid’ on.

How do I apply?

There are two ways to register with Home-Link; you can complete an application form online or request an application form from Roddons or Fenland District Council. If you have a medical need you can also complete a medical-self assessment form to support your application.

To apply on-line, please visit the Home-Link website

Once Roddons has processed your application and accepted you onto the register, we will write to you with the Home-Link user guide and your Home-Link Number. We will tell you which housing needs band (A, B, C or D) you have been placed in and your priority date (the date you were placed into that band).

Important! You must keep Roddons informed of any changes to your circumstances i.e. changes to your household size, medical condition or housing situation as they could result in a change of band, or your eligibility for certain properties.
