Russet shortlisted for MoneyActionNet Awards 2011!

Congratulations to Russet who have been shortlisted for the MoneyActionNet Awards 2011. These awards are for projects that have proved successful in helping social housing tenants to improve their money management. Winners will be announced on Monday 16 January.

Russet have been shortlisted for their Welfare Benefits Advice Service.

This service has helped residents claim around £1.4m of benefits, and help change their lives. This has been done by working with residents to help them indentify, make applications and challenge decisions for benefits to which they may be entitled. This helps our customers address their rent arrears, financial exclusion and other benefit issues. New tenancies also are offered assistance from the benefits specialists.
