Anti-social behaviour can include a range of activities and is a problem that has many causes. It requires a variety of responses to tackle it effectively.
We take all reports of ASB seriously and aim to balance enforcement action (eviction, ASBOs etc.) and intervention (warning letters, Acceptable Behaviour Agreements etc.) with programmes that may prevent anti-social behaviour (improved security, summer activity programmes etc.).
Anti-social behaviour can be reported by the victim, a witness or a person on behalf of the victim. If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour and wish to report it or seek advice you can contact your Neighbourhood Officer or call our Customer Services Team on:

When you report anti-social behaviour to us, we will record the details of your report and we aim to contact you within one working day. A Neighbourhood Officer will contact you to discuss the incident and make an appointment to agree an Action Plan for the management of the case. In cases of anti-social behaviour involving violence or the threat of violence, we would strongly advise that you contact the police as well.

South Anglia takes a victim-centred approach to tackling anti-social behaviour. We aim to be considerate and sensitive to the potential distress of victims and witnesses. We work with local agencies, such as Victim Support, police and the council to help provide appropriate support and may refer victims and witnesses to specialist teams.
