Being a Resident Board Member is a voluntary role that involves six evening meetings a year and occasional day time training and involvement in local Fun Days, becoming a Board Champion and other committees. And you’ll be Enhancing the Life Chances of your community in a very practical way.
What do you get out of it?
You’ll be making a real contribution to the way Wherry is run to benefit its 7,600 households. You’ll have the chance to develop new skills as a member of the Board, like finance training, helping to agree a business plan and developing strategic thinking.
We are currently looking for a second Resident Board Member and the closing date for on line applications is 12 March 2012.
