Wherry are offering many activities and events in your area, and there are some ongoing schemes to enable residents to get involved at a local level.

Between the North Lynn Discovery Centre in King's Lynn, to the football "Kickz" project at the Cobham 'Cage' in Great Yarmouth, you should be able to find an activity (or organise one!) to suit you.

The NICE Scheme

In keeping with Circle's 'Life Chances' agenda, the Neighbourhood Improvement for the Community and Environment, or NICE, Scheme gives residents' an opportunity to request small communal improvements to their estates.

The NICE Scheme has proved to be very popular with residents, in 2008-09 there were 9 successful applications including a pathway in Peterborough, communal garden in Norwich and new rotary dryers in King's Lynn. This year each of the 11 Neighbourhood Patch Panels has been given £2000 of the NICE budget to spend on communal improvements in their areas.
