Local residents are taking the lead with the pilot in Terrington which the TSA will use to learn from. It will drive forward change and influence the future service improvements between residents and landlords across the whole of social housing.
Local residents have a key role over the coming year in measuring the performance of the landlords and can become actively involved. This could be through highlighting issues directly to landlords or taking on a more formalised role such as becoming a member of the newly established Terrington Neighbourhood Standards Panel.
Panel members will act as ‘champions’ of the Charter and take the lead role in overseeing and measuring its impact locally. We are actively seeking residents to sit on the panel to raise issues with local service providers and hold Wherry and the other local organisations to account.
