If you have moved into a new build property and are renting it or have purchased it via our Home ownership scheme, you can still report any repairs (we may refer to these as "defects") to us in the usual way.
Please click here to find out how to report a repair.
We will then contact the developers who will arrange an appointment directly with you.
If you are reporting an Emergency repair, Out of Office Hours,(after 5pm weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday) please inform the advisor that the property is a new build.
Please note that the developer responsibilty for new builds can last up to a year. The majority of developments will have an End of Defect inspection, when the Developer, who may be accompanied by a Wherry Representative, will check all existing repairs have been completed. At this time you can also report any new repairs and highlight any that haven't been completed.
General needs (rented properties) - Wherry are usually responsible - please click here to see what you are responsible for.
Home Ownership properties – you are now responsible for any repairs to your property, however, there are some circumstances where the National House Building Council (NHBC) may cover your repair, if you have any queries please contact Circle Living on 01603 703916 and 0800 694 0165 or click here to visit their website.
