How we can help you
If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour, we can offer advice and support to try and resolve the problem at an early stage.
Prevention and early intervention are at the heart of our approach to dealing with anti-social behaviour and, where possible, we will intervene at an early stage to a report. We aim to provide a proportionate response to reports of anti-social behaviour.
Circle Housing has a number of ways we can help to stop anti-social behaviour but we need to work with all our residents to get the message across that it won't be tolerated. Solutions may include: getting independent mediation experts to oversee talks between those involved and those affected, involving other external agencies such as Environmental Health Services to monitor noise or where necessary, involving the police. In most cases, we will aim to stop the anti-social behaviour at an early stage to stop the problem becoming serious. This can be achieved if all parties involve work together.
We will take legal action, such as applying for an injunction or taking possession action, only where it is reasonable and will evict people from our properties only as a last resort. Eviction is only used where the case is so serious that a court judge will order it. For this to happen we need strong evidence and the support of witnesses to demonstrate this.
